you can do anything, but you can't do everything

review

ou reduce the scope, of what are you working on, -> You reduce the scope of what are you working on,

This is the Bayes’ Theorem. You should change your prior knowledge based on new information. -> boa analogia ao bayes

You focus on customer-requested features that aligned if your vision.

You focus on customer-requested features that aligns with your vision.

De resto muito bom o artigo

  1. bom artigo

  1. You reduce the scope, of what are you working on, until you can deliver some value to your customer. “You reduce the scope that you are working on” You focus on customer-requested features that aligned if your vision. “…that are aligned with your vision”

gostei do story telling

“We decided to build 10 features at the same time, instead of focusing on just one and iterating and making it perfect. In the end, we have 10 features not so good.

We decided to do very specific features for a few customers instead of building what most customers wanted. We were focusing more on customers that complained a lot in customer support, instead of customers that brought more revenue.”

Isso aqui ficou muito bom!

David Allen, com Getting Things Done, tá no meu to read list.

  1. Muito bom o artigo

Fez bastante sentido pra mim

You can do anything, but you can't do everything

Building software for others is easy, as you just need to deliver what they say to you. You don't need to think about product development.

sugestão: colocar mais hiperlinks

Bayes’ Theorem

Minimum Viable Product.

May talk about Planning and goals, I understand the example and context, but the focus needs to be aggregated to some other things. If you are focused in wrong things you don´t get much success. Maybe mentoring be interesting at this point.

Think about the utility and needs – Prospect theory and expected utility hypothesis The expected utility hypothesis serves as a reference guide for decisions when the return is uncertain. The theory recommends which option rational individuals should choose in a complex situation, based on their risk appetite and preferences. So, you got some risk e take some decision with some racional thinking. In another way, general people have the decision affected by the perspective, for example:

Prospect theory suggests that; When faced with a risky choice leading to gains agents are risk averse, preferring the certain outcome with a lower expected utility.

People are loss averse and prefer to remain in an inert state, this works as an internal risk policy and a reactive mental defense state. Changing mental focus requires rational, deliberative, and logical decision making. With human evolution, our body was shaped to pulp energy. Although often a person is guided with advice or suggestion about their activities and focus, change needs a prior non-intuitive rational deliberation that requires discipline, flexibility and willingness to change. Every change has a risk

Risk diversification and regression toward the mean

Defining strategy and efficient thinking, only diversifying the approaches will make you similar to the others in the market. It is important to diversify while maintaining a balance between efficiency and scale. Although it is necessary to make a quick mistake to understand the market and customers, it takes agility, knowledge, focus and competence to equate the company’s progress and flow in the opportunities generated with scale.

It should have a dynamic pricing model, where the salesforce man is part of the business strategy from the beginning. As it is a disruption of the sales model, the professional’s work model must be differentiated.

Prioritization; Efficiency; Time is limited; Prospect theory; Utility; Risk; Decision making; Planning; Goals; Business; Market; Product; Development; Strategy
