Software House and the Prisoner's Dilemma

Prisoner’s dilemma is a classic game theory example where 2 “individuals” might not cooperate.

The 2 “individuals” in the case of this article will be the Software House (SH) and the Customer.

This can also be applied to a freelancer and a customer.

The cooperation action of the SH will be to deliver software with high quality

The betrayal action of the SH will be to deliver software with poor quality

The customer cooperation action will be to keep re-contracting the same SH

The customer betrayal action will be to contract another SH to reduce the service price of another SH.
